awhile ago you had a post about not freezing bottled water,because the gases inside can be cancerous.
during the summer months i like to freeze gatorade bottles,the 32 oz size and use them for golfing,since its hot out there
ever since i read your post,i have not done that

but need to know are you referring to those bottles as well?

I remember posting something about it. I even went so far as to contact the woman at Walter Reed who was spreading the information through the US Army and asked her about her findings. She responded with several articles but nothing was conclusive. I've decided that it, along with a score of other things, is probably more bunk than bite. IMHO, the small amount of dioxins that may leech from the plastic is probably less of a carcinogen than breathing the air in a large city! I'm still re-freezing water in old bottles and am not really concerned about the risk. I guess it's your choice.
