Vegas in March Question

I go to Vegas with a group of guys a couple of times a year and they mentioned going the first weekend of the NCAA Tourney. Any of you guys been there during the first weekend of March Madness??
We don't want to be there if it is way too crowded. If the sportsbooks are nuts then we would probably just pick another weekend with no special event going on. Thanks in advance for any insight.

I live here in Vegas. Way crowded and nutz! But that's part of the fun. Books are of the hook that opening few days.

Been during that weekend and it is a good time but as mentioned crowded. Consider going the second weekend as there is still a ton of action and not as crowded.
