Does anyone have local info on prices on the new monorail?

I've checked out lvmonorail.com but they don't have prices up.

I've heard its $3 one way, but I saw 1 day passes and 3 day passes on there.

Does anyone know how much that would be?

We're going in a couple weeks and some of us don't want to rent a car and this could be a better option.

Thanks

To my knowledge it isnt even open yet? I know cars are running on the tracks but if I remember right its testing only, going live in March.

Hmmm OK yeah you may be right. I asked one of their PR guys when I was there in October he said the target was going live in March, but cool for them if they are early - its about time and would be good for SuperBowl traffic.

The lastest news on their site though says March 1, but its a month old or so:

23 million under budget, that's outstanding the city & the contractor should be commended. Wish we've hired them here in Massachusetts for the "BIG DIG" which is several billion OVER BUDGET AND STILL GOING.
