Vegas Package Deals Help

I am going to Vegas in Sept for a wedding, and it seems like the hotel/air packages are pretty high. Anyone have any other suggestions, I have checked all over the place to try and find cheap deals and haven't had much luck. It seems like the airfare is high from Chicago. The wedding is at Belliago and reception at NYNY, so want to stay somewhere around there, ideally Monte Carlo. but am open to suggestions.

anytime that I have gone to vegas i usually use hotels.com & orbitz.com.

Also, might want to consider flying out of Midway or Milwaukee as they have pretty decent rates to vegas.

The wife and I just booked a 6 night stay from milwaukee to vegas in october and paid 350 a person for air and hotel. Not a bad deal Ithink. The hotel is on teh strip too.

I like the Flamingo myself. They usually have a $55/night rate on the weekdays. Weekends are another story but you can usually find better rates than most of the middle of the strip hotels.
