On the course!
They needed Houston to cover 16 in the worst way.

Book managers have to be shaking their heads at how shitty it has been for them lately.

Home teams n chalk.......Vegas' worst nightmare coming true. KC and Dallas too easy tomorrow. Even though they opened Pitt -1 trend of the home field will continue

haha, is this a joke?

The handle for the two NFL games nationwide will exceed all NBA games for the entire season. And when you extend it globally, with online books like Bet365.com the NBA and NCAA will be like gnats on an elephants arse.

Any local office will chop its staff 60/70 % after the football season, just not enough action to carry full staff during baskets ( at least until "The Dance".

NFL is the cock of the woods.

Not to mention the betting limits on baskets are small compared to foots...College basket totals some places may give you a nickel...Kinda like blackjack if you can win they won't give you action....

me and a buddy run a small local book,
15 to 20 players.
and this is the first year ever we are gonna lose.
this has been the easiest year that i can ever remember for ez public winners.
lines that look like traps, aren't.
normally, theres a few each week that the public player will be shaking his head, asking himself
how did that happen??? n.e. at home can't cover -8 over shitty team....
not this year, jus bout every ez looking line has come thru.
look at yesterday....atlanta and over......no brainer

n.e. and over ....no brainer.

both ez as apple pie.

thats been the whole yr. in a nutshell.

Agreed Steel , that's why when I started posting how bad books been getting crushed for past few months , people on here saying vegas this and that and my buddy has this site he's doing fairly well. It's comical it's been a brutal season, public having a cake walk.

It kind of reminds me of the 1991-2 NFL season. I was living in LA. I knew big bookies in both NYC and LA areas and both complained long and loud about that season. I believed them as well?even I won in the NFL AND the colleges that year. At one point I had 14 winning bets in a row, including some two-team parlays!!

It was my first full year betting on the NFL in the US. I thought it would always be like that!! I'm sure reliable numbers are hard to come by but I wonder how Vegas did that season and in the years between now and then. Have the books nationwide ever been truly crushed since that year before this last season? Two losing years in 25 isn't too bad, is it?
