Guys,

I'm sure there is already a decent thread on this but I'm lazy. I am headed out to vegas in Oct for a weekend with some friends and wanted to know what everyone's opinion is on sportsbooks? I am staying in the Bellagio fwiw. Free and plentiful drinks is a must! Let me know some opinions and anything else I must do for a first timer in vegas.

you can't go wrong at the Bellagio, Venetian, or Ceaser's they all offer similiar stuff. At the other end of the strip you might try Mandalay Bay:00hour

To add to the list, the Hilton Sportsbook is nice but off the beaten path.

If its a guy's trip and you are looking for some fun if nothing more than just to watch eye candy, try the Playboy Club. We walked in like we own the joint and they didn't even ask us for the $30 cover. Worth a try...

If you're looking to spend some dollar bills, try Spearmint Rhino... just don't take a lot of cash bcuz you'll spend it all...

Caesar's pool is nice but so is the Hard Rock and mandalay bay pool area as well...

All of them are the same anymore. Don't expect to get to many free drink tickets unless you sort of break up your bets, and try to do that it's the best way if you're going to bet a lot (for extra drink tix). I like the Venetian because the seats are comfortable, service is great and most of the cocktail waitresses are pretty nice. They have pretty reasonable juice too if you get in early on the lines.

Going out in OCT as well, early OCT it looks like. Waiting on a buddy who is on detail.

Woodson, explain to me where these places you suggest. I would like to hit them up!!

Thanks....Spearmint and Playboy club! I stay at Excalibur and hardly leave the hotel!! Just pure gambling but this time we said we would go out!
