Just got off the phone with MJ..he is a little down (duh) but not too bad!!

He said to tell everyone thank you so much and sorry...sorry? BS!! You did great!

Anyway, Jack was up over 200,000 and feeling good, he had built major respect and was successfull at picking off blinds and such.

Someone limped and MJ raised it to 25,000 with KJ. The guy thought forever and nearly folded Jack said but then called. Flop was J-10-7 he thinks...MJ bet 30,000 and dude made it 60,000 :com: turn was a 9, giving Jack a gutshot out...he had already checked in the dark...guy bet 40,000 I think he said...MJ called and river was J.......MJ had already checked dark again, and all in call **** me bullshit **** sucking mother fu*king bullshit ****er had AJ...

ESPN came over and interviewed Jack while he was waiting to get escorted to the pay window..about his Dad and emotions and all that...Jack will get on here later, I thought he might want to post this hand but he will be busy for quite a while so he said go ahead..

Dammit!! Well, I guess now I can go play golf?

Hard to get away from that hand-he had top pair with a K kicker then he hit the set on the river. Tough to lay down trips..

Awesome Jack! I'm sorry I couldn't post some mojo for you. Wife's 40th weekend. I feel like I let you down. You can blame me.

It's already been posted many times but we're awful proud the way you played. To know this many guys(my wife too!) were rooting you on must make you feel pretty good.

Have a safe trip home. You've got a helluva stake for football!

Jack--

Thanks for letting us have our small part in your exciting run at the main event.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say your following here and also in vegas is a testament to your character and we are all proud of what you have accomplished.

I look forward to next year so we can do this again!

Jack, I'm sure you're disappointed but you've done a helluva job! You have no reason to say you're sorry... you've given all of us a great ride! To have the opportunity to know someone who survived 8,000+ others in the biggest poker tournament in the world is a thrill we've all enjoyed. Keep your head high, you have NOTHING to be ashamed of! Get some dinner and well deserved rest, you've earned it!

Poker is brutal. How many times will you put your chips in the middle of the table KNOWING you are at 100%? Then how many times will someone elses chips be there? To win the WSOP you have to avoid that catastrophic river phoenix card or someone with a better hold card. In other words, skill can only take you so far. You have to be incredibly lucky. I think Jack did as best as he possibly could and that last hand was a clean loss. 50% coin flip. Best you can ask for. $35,000 ain't bad. That's for should!
