IT WILL BE ABOUT MATCHUPS IF THEY PLAY A TEAM WITH GOOD PERIMETER D THEY WTLL HAVE ISSUES THEY RELY SO MUCH ON THE KICK OUT BUT PLAYING TEAMS THAT HAVE POOR PERIMETER D LIKE TENN THEY MAY WIN A COUPLE

did anyone else see the stat they showed during the game, I think they said vernado has more blocked shots than 325 D-1 schools.
That's amazing! State just got a bad matchup with Washington playing so close to home.

Varnado cant gain weight.... they have tried and tried and tried... and are still trying... he has gotten a little bigger but he wont get much bigger. It really hurt when Elgin Bailey got hurt cuz he is our big banger

I think the kid will play in the NBA, but he'll need to gain some weight eventually. Miss State is probably lucky he's not 30 pounds heavier or he would be gone by now. I don't see many 210 pound bigmen in the NBA. However, this kid is very quick and one heck of a shot blocker.

he totally changed thoses last 3 games. TN along with LSU & USC definitely chose not to come in the paint by the end of those games. Then the kickouts to the guards stopped falling = MSU SEC champs. :toast:

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
i think once vanado gets away from the worst referees in the country the s.e.c. you will see him pick up alot of fouls. he gets away with murder in the paint and he hooks his oponent when on offenses and it is never called. He is a very quick off his feet and i'm not sure puting on alot of weight would be beneficiary to him. and his arms are unbielevably long for a 6 9 guy.

im betting he will be in foul trouble in the upcoming tournament.
