I will say this now, if St.Louis doesn't get a quality goalie, they will never win a stanley cup, heck they won't even go far. Up 3-2 in the 3rd and Johnston lets in 2 goals. A quality team does not allow that to happen. St.L had 32 shots while NYI had 20 shots. Now yes I do agree that Johnson has his spectacular nights, but down the long haul when it comes to the trenches.... ST.L with their goaltending WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE IN THE PLAYOFFS :nono:

I was not going to get on the Forum after that pathetic performance by Johnson in nets but I had to. What a friggin joke. STL has burned me as much as NJ,Ott & Wash this year. Their is no way STL gets past the second round in the playoffs. Look who they have as a backup, Braithwaite with no playoff exp. Still can't believe we all lost BIG on this one.

I could not agree with you more. It is the same story with the Blues every year it seems. They got rid of Turek and got 2 guys EXACTLY like him. I read something recently that suggested they would probably make a move for a goalie at the trade deadline. Don't remember where I read that .

This is what I am hearing from a friend who is friends with Howard Berger of the FAN590 AM www.fan590.com

I laughed at this when he told me this but here goes:

Joseph goes to St.L, Johnson and a prospect go to Dallas, and Belfour plus$$$ and a draft pick go to Leafs!!

I :nono: do it from a Leafs management perspective!

I dont know why the leafs would make that trade they don't gain anything, yet don't really lose anything...watching Belfour live in Chicago and now Dallas he really usually does well the first season or two after a trade with the exception of San Jose whereas I think if St. Loo was honestly thinking of goalies they would have lookes aat beezer

Its all good $$$...at least you were in the + today!! But yea I have to agree with you on STL ....they cost me some games because of there shitty goaltending....Good Luck my freind!
