VERY good poker story

ok.... i was playing 1/1 nl at a local poker game and I was up about $200 in a couple hrs play. The guy I played w/ busted and was wanting to leave so I told the guys at the table THIS hand was the last.


so THIS hand was dealt....

I was dealt TT... i raised to 6 pf and only 1 player called... flop was 882 and i bet 10... opponent raised min. and i called. Turn was a T. i checked and oppenent bet 35. i raised to 70. Opponent pushed and he had me covered... I called and he showed 88 for 4 of a kind....

BUT

take a guess what the river showed?

a damn TEN!:shrug:

I hate to say this... but when people bring up bad beat stories... I have to tell them i am on the better end of the deal...
