I wonder what an average joe would have gotten? Celebrated cases can go either way...
Federal guidelines say 18 to 21 months, tho the max can be as high as 5 years. He got the high end of the penalty because the judge said that while everyone is upset that they got caught, he did not believe that Vick understands that what he did was wrong, i.e. his contrition was not sincere.
The main penalty he may face is losing about 130 million $$ and he is already in some trouble with business loans. Sooo...how the mighty have fallen. :shrug:
but isn't he also facing state charges ?
Who cares, just move on and forget about the guy.
