I wonder what an average joe would have gotten? Celebrated cases can go either way...

Federal guidelines say 18 to 21 months, tho the max can be as high as 5 years. He got the high end of the penalty because the judge said that while everyone is upset when they get caught, he did not believe that Vick understands that what he did was wrong, i.e. his contrition was not sincere.

The main penalty he may face is losing about 130 million $$ and he is already in some trouble with business loans. Sooo...how the mighty have fallen. :shrug:

Chi, I didn't see your thread. AR, they were saying on ESPN that they will try and get those served concurrently with the Federal charges.

You are right, he faces those charges (for dogfighting) in April. The state will likely take into account that he is serving federal time for this mess, we can guess.
