I am sure that there are some who will be quick to chastise me for posting this but I am also sure that it reflects the attitude of more than a small percentage of our troops in Iraq.

Considering our President's failed policy, who could blame them?

This is to funny !! I know you like to censor all news that does not fit your agenda but, come on !! Mr. stand up guy has imposed self censorship on this video. Go figure . Believe these are the people we are responsible for training?? If they get only half the insults/putdowns ect we get going through basic training they'll be lucky.

I canjust see me telling drill instructer when at basic training--- don't insult me

There is only one thing more mind boggeling to me than and enemy that has the courage to continue to fight even though they have no airpower--no armoured vehicles--and totally outmanned
--and that is those that lack the courage to continue despite having all the advantages-

The only thing I find mind boggling is your failure to understand the key points, the enemy & our misguided use of our men on the ground in Iraq. You and the people that planned the execution of this war don't understand that we do not have all the advantages, the way they have chosen to engage this enemy has leveled the playing field, if not tipped it in their favor. You and they, do not have the courage to see that. I guess I have to say it again : winning a ground war in Iraq is not possible. I hope our gov will have the courage to accept that and use our military in a more proficient way. Throwing more American life on the pile. is not going to change anything. I'm on the side of winning, you are on the side of smoke screens and defeat. I don't think you know what courage is. Ask the people in the military that have come out against this ground war in Iraq about courage. You think like a soldier, you take orders no matter what. Thank God for guys like you on the front line but this discussion is over your head. This is big boy stuff, I'm talking about a strategy to save American life and defeat terrorism. We are not defeating terrorism in a cost effective way on the ground in Iraq. We had this country without an air force contained. Our leaders made judgments about the enemy that were not true and now we are bogged down in this shit hole. All I can see and I see it like it is. This administration is trying to cover their asses and it's failed policies with the lives of our military. Maybe that sits right with you but not me !!!

I don't think you have to be in the military to have an opinion that this is a failed policy. Many from generals on down have expressed their problems with the execution of this war. I'm not anti war, I'm for giving us a chance to win, I'm for plans that value American life. The stuff in this quote has nothing to do with me. You will never hear me complain about treatment of terrorist prisoners. All this smoke screen BS in this thread is just Bull Shit. Your missing the major point : we should have never engaged this enemy on the ground in Iraq. The author of article intent was to show us insulting iraqi we are training.

These Iraquis are policemen, Wayne. There is more than a little difference between their duties and those of soldiers. Besides, it did not appear to me that this was a training excercise so I don't really get why you are defending their behavior.
