holy shit, the before and after picture makes me sick

he was just a homeless schizophrenic probably off his meds as the article stated

i wish i could kick each one of those cops ass into a coma

why the fuck did they need to do that, probably made them feel like real big men, i really hope they got massive jail time, though not quite sure how it works for police officers, they seem to get off easier then most

If this poor bastard was homeless, how in the hell is his dad coming forward to champion his cause?

THAT is something that sickens me.

Where have YOU been dad?????

Can't see anything and who are you going to believe?

all the bystanders in the video are asking why the guy has been tased 5 times

and another one says, how is he resisting if the police officer is on his back

does it really take 5 guys to subdue a homeless man, and even if it does, that picture is not justification for resisting arrest

In the shadows
The city has a video from a camera that has not been released that has a clear angle of the beating.

KFI 640 has been interviewing many people involved in this case.

Thursday night, someone who is close to some Fullerton Police officers called in with inside knowledge of the beating. The officers not involved are iincensed by the brutality. 5 out of 6 involved are still on the job, 1 is on medical leave.

The city tried to payoff the Kellys with a $900K settlement. Also had said to Mr. Kelly, "face it Mr. Kelly, your'e son wasn't exactly a rocket scientist"

I'm not following why the attacks on the father are going on?

Of course it doesn't!

But, if you couldn't take care of your son, don't act all incredulous now.

I've been following this story since it became public. from what I've heard both parents did everything they could to try and help the disturbed young man, but if an adult is mentally ill and wants to live on the street, there's not much that can be done to keep them off of the street. very sad. The father even took into custody himself to try and help his son get back on medication which helped, but the son refused to admit he had a problem and would then stop taking the medication.

Actually, they could have had him commited, so no....they didn't do all they could have.

Instead, he wound up be a burden on others, which they probably should have known would be the case, and ended up dead.

Maybe these dumb-assed cops should run the 'victim' route, like everyone else does, and claim if mom and dad did the responsible thing.....he wouldn't have been on the streets for them to kill?
