Where it is real F ing COLD
Line opened Packers -3 and I don't think anyone is shocked about the line. I have no pick as of now, I see this going either way, I think the Vikes have the better roster but I never trust the Vikes in a big road game on grass, its nice to get them in September again.

What steps out at me?

Does someone besides Davante Adams step up Pack will need someone else to shine.

Can the Vikes O line handle the new look Packer pass rushing front? They had a lot of pressure on Trubisky and the VIkes did give up some pressure Sunday.

Packers gave up some pressure as well but they have two good tackles who could neutralize the Vikings edge rushing tandem in Hunter and Griffen.

Who can run the ball will tell a lot as well, Vikes want to establish the run..

When I look at this I think the VIkes still have the better defense and have the better offesive talent, Vikes haven't lost to Green Bay in 3 years now. Rodgers will be going for blood, man I cant's stand that guy

a grand total of 25 pass attempts in the ex-season..

and in that 3rd and last game he was in [didn't play in the 4th game] he was 3 of 13.

not exactly what I would deem the proper amount of live reps to get ready...

Then in a game where he could have gotten some work in they give him a lunch break..

Gets in another shootout in GB we will see if he is ready..

Odds are ARods ready...

Vikes fan here. I personally did great on the Green Bay game last week as I bet them on the moneyline for game, first quarter, first half and second half. These plays were more plays against Chicago than plays on Green Bay. Chicago got 36 turnovers last year. Had 12 offensive holding penalties last year. They got the lead quite a few games and got to run and tee off on defensive. I am expecting Chicago to regress this year and will be a regular play against. I dont see their QB as anything special and their record last won't be repeated this year. They won't win the division playing the number one schedule. It will be the Vikes or Green Bay with them playing the two's and threes respectively.

I also played the Vikes and sold points on first half, game, second half and second half under.

So these two teams did well for me week one.

I thought Green Bay looked very average. From last year their defense looks improved but was that because Chicago's offense is not very good? Their offense was obviously nothing special but it also went against a very good Chicago defense. I agree that on offense Minnesota just has more weapons than Green Bay. I will get to the Aaron Rodgers part in a minute.

On the other side Minnesota jumped on what is supposed to be a good Atlanta team and then coasted the rest of the game. Atlanta was never in the game. Vikes plan to run the ball was very effective and Dalvin Cook will lead the NFL in rushing this year. He is very explosive and has a second gear if he gets any space. Cousins did not have to pass so the fact that he only threw 10 passes means nothing. Rudolph caught zero passes. Thielen who I love only caught a couple. Same with Diggs. They could easily open the offense up some more if needed because we definitely have more offensive weapons than Green Bay.

On the defense side of the ball Minnesota has 9 starters back from last year. They have all pros at every part of the defense. One of the biggest additions to the defense this year is Everson Griffen is back after missing half of last year with mental health issues. He is a beast on the defensive line. Pair him Danielle Hunter another beast and Rodgers will be feeling the heat.

I think MInnesota's defense is better than Green Bay and MInnesota has more weapons on offense. Which leaves Green Bay with home field and Aaron Rodgers.

Which comes to the Aaron Rodgers factor. He has some great career numbers but what have you done for me lately? Last 4 years team record when he plays is basically 50%. In his career he has almost zero comebacks in the fourth quarter against a team with a winning record. Think about that one. Play action pass is the bread and butter for NFL quarterbacks. Hold the linebacker and then hit your receiver in one of the gaps. Where do you think Rodgers ranks in play action pass in the NFL the last 4 years? I asked this question to a big Packer fan at work and he guessed top 5 in the league. Sounds like a reasonable guess....but not even close. Try dead last....dead last. Dead last for an elite quarterback? The Green Bay fan even admitted that the last couple of years he has seen allot more throws by Rodgers that are not only incomplete but also not even close....at the feet of the receiver or totally uncatchable. So is Aaron Rodgers still the QB that can make up for other short comings on his offense. Other than Adams at WR who do you want on your fantasy team?

They also have a new coach that was supposed to open up the offense. I texted the packer fans during the game.....when will the chants for McCarthy start. Their offense in the first game was very vanilla ice cream.

I will be on the Vikes on the moneyline based on what I have seen.....not because I am a Vikings fan. When it comes to betting I have zero problem betting against the Vikings if I think it will win.

I'd buy Minny to +4 1/2 and roll with it. Rodgers isn't the same QB anymore. Green Bay is nothing special, even at home.

Pack just like any team that uses play action has been bad because they have not had a very good running back in years. Green, Levins, off top of my head without a elite RB play action doesn?t work, I don?t care how great the QB is. Football has spread out formations over the last years but it still revolves around the run game not the pass game. If you can?t run you sure as hell cant pass.

Green Bay was in the top 10 in rushing yards per game in two of the last 4 years so that doesn't help your argument.

So 50% of the time in L4 they finished in top 1/3rd ?
In last 4 how many 1,000 yrd backs?

So teams without a 1,000 yard rusher should not use play action pass because it wont be effective? If you are top 10 in rushing the defense sure as hell has to respect the run because you obviously can run the ball as a team and rankings of 6th and 9th in yards per game is not exactly a poor rushing team....in fact I would say those are very good rushing teams.

Last 4 years there have been 9, 9, 12 and 7 rushers with 1,000 yards and all of the other teams without one of those rushers did better on play action passes than Green Bay....including QB's like....Blake Bortles, Brian Hoyer, Tyrod Taylor, Blaine Gabbert and Case Keenum.

There is no defending Rodgers absolutely poor numbers on play action pass or the fact that he is 0-35 when trailing by 1 or more points in the fourth quarter in his career (that has to be one of the worse records in history).

There are such QB like Rogers,Ben,Rivers. Who are play action QB?s Therefore w/o a good run game that the ?D? has to respect the P/A is not as effective.
In last 4 yrs how many 1,000 yd rushers?

The running back with at least 100 attempts or more for the season and the highest yards per attempt running in 2018?

Any guesses? Here is your chance to get it right

Apparently you have never seen aaron Jones play. He led the league in yards per carry average. As long as he stays healthy this guy is the real deal. He will be the difference maker in viking game.

They aren?t worried about his reps, there was absolutely no need to pass last week, only turnovers could have got
Atlanta back, same weapons as last year
