KANSAS CITY CHIEFS -3 - Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil was none too pleased after last week?s awful 24-6 home loss to the Niners, and reports are that Kansas City?s practices were much more spirited this week. I think that this will translate into a much-improved performance by KC in this game. They also have a powerful pre-season trend in their corner, as home favorites coming off of a game where they scored 7 points or less and allowed 24 points or more are now 17-5, 77.3% ATS. This angle makes perfect sense in these exhibition games, as the home team wants to redeem themselves off of a poor performance, and wanting it more is the key to winning these games. The Vikings played very sloppily in their 16-14 loss to a nondescript Jacksonville team last week, and they have had a history of holding back in the pre season under Coach Green. They figure to play this one close to the vest as well, as they do not want to tip their hand for a regular season meeting with Kansas City in December.

That is a solid angle and you are right: it makes perfect sense. I was leaning to the Chiefs and that angle may be enough for me to make it a play. Good luck tonite!

That angle is strong. But has little to do with coaching staff at KC now. Viking not a happy bunch either. They may air it out for at least first half. With coach Green now gone in Minn. All trends from him have very little weight.
I like the part KC played poor, and there coach hates to loose even in Preseason. To me this is best info. And I agree with the play on KC. Im just trying to push myself to the over also. Minn should have more then 14 points this week. If they get more normal around 19/20 points. And if we like KC to cover the 3 we have a easy over. 24/20 KC.
