Ok....This coming from a Fins fan and a Favre fan.
1. Childress 100% made some very questionable play calls.
2. Favre hit Shiancoe and Harvin & Lewis and all of them could not hold on to the ball. Harvin in the endzone (THAT WAS A TD) and Shiancoe on a moving drive where Favre threw a rocket and it hit him in the numbers. I know there were a couple more fuck up's on the receivers end.
3. Brett is NOT DONE. He is still better than 1/2 the QB's in the NFL.
4. Why not MORE AP ? MORE AP ? MORE AP ? The kid is beast swing passes......MORE AP.
5. The Dolphins "D" was very good and to play that good in the DOME says alot.
6. Safe to safe pal you are 100% correct CHILDRESS is the liability not FAVRE. The guy is 41 slinging passes around to who ? They better make a move soon for a big receiver.

Favre, missed traiining camp, lost top stretch receiver, and is 41. They played two future division winners, and I cashed twice in a row against, but will play the vikings next game. They have a great defense and favre will is a winner. Believe me , know one feels worse then him, he is 41 , not 61, he can stil:0corn l win!!

Where it is real F ing COLD
Lets get this straight.. Does Favre look rusty yes.. He threw 2 Horrendous picks but he had a ton of drops. He hit Harvin in the chest at the Dolphin half yard line and it bounced out and was picked. He fumbled in the end zone when his tackle was completely dominated..

Favre did have couple terrible throws but Childress is a FUCKING IDIOT.. YOU HAVE ONE OF THE BEST BACKS IN FOOTBALL.. So what does Chile do? He gets rid of Matt Birk last year, an ALL PRO center and then loves this fucking Harrera at right guard and keeps him... Instead of worrying about his boy Tavaris Jackson he should of got rid of Jackson and the guard.. Childress has no business running this footballl team this is another point of how fucking dumb he is..

A few years back I believe it was New Mexico or somebody like that had a Center in Ryan Cook. THe Vikings trade up in the second round to get him, (Projected 4th rounder) and then he makes him into a right tackle..:mj07: He is the starter in the second year.. Was the worse right tackle in football and lead the league in penalties.. I mean Jackson got killed that year.. Ok so then you let Birk go.. I was thinking they would move Cook to center.. NOPE lets start a second year,, undersized 7th round draft choice start.. This guy is continually pushed back a yard or 2 after he snaps the damn ball.

And answer me this.. Why the fuck is AP running behind a blocking FB.. I could see if the FB was any good but Tahi is a piece of shit.. If the Vikes lose next week then I hope they totally bomb so Childress gets the fuck out of there.. He really duped the Wilfs into giving him that contract extension. I hate the FUCKER...
Maybe I just have some stress right now... Been off the sauce for a couple weeks.. Need Beer.

Oh and I hope nobody followed my CFB picks.. Good Grief

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't Bevel the one calling the offensive plays? Everyone rips Childress for his playcalling, but I was under the assumption Bevel called the offense. Of course Childress has the overall power, but I don't think he messes with the play calls to any real degree - I seem to notice after a few of those plays he seems disgusted with the outcome.

Now, that being said, I think the offensive line decisions have been horrible. Cook is worthless, always has been. Letting Birk go was ridiculous, although I honestly think most of that was Birk's choice, to challenge himself and try somewhere else - he as much said so, and his local friends and connections have said so. I don't know how they can fix the OL issues, and those combined with Rice being out is killing the team right now. They could go out and get VJax, but by the time he can get playing, they could be virtually out of the race.

Favre looks like he thinks he made a mistake to me. He looks old, and he looks frustrated, and with only two decent receivers (one playing out of position) he has no good options to throw to, and not that much time with the OL issues.

Doesn't help that the cornerbacks are hurt and not playing, but the defense has been ok. They have given up some big plays which have hurt, but the defense is not the issue at the moment, and should get better.

If they could get VJax, if Rice can play as early as week 7, and Favre can stay alive until that time, and the team is at least around .500, I think they can make the playoffs, and then who knows. If those things don't happen, then it could be an ugly season. If they don't score some against Detroit this week, who knows what might happen around here, and I'm not sure that is going to happen if the Lions try to stop the run.

I am not completely surprised they are 0-2, considering the injuries, but they have to come up with some wins moving forward against a tough schedule. Although the schedule doesn't look as tough as it did before the season started in some respects (Dallas/New England). I don't know how they plan to score on the Jets defense the way their offense is now, and Dallas will be desperate coming to town - that game could be an elimination game for those two teams. Going to New England is always tough, and going to Green Bay at the moment seems like an improbable win. Those are the four games coming out of the bye - yuch.
