Can someone help me understand the line on this one? The Vikings obviously have the superior talent, play extremely well indoors, and Moss and Culpepper have looked great this year displaying their #1 passing offense in the NFL. I must admit, very tempting to side with the Vikings.

With the line at Vikings -4, I felt was low but expected it to move up throughout the day, as more people began to focus on the night game. Now it appears money is coming in on Saints (-115), which totally has me confused. This definitely appears to be one of those lines that could be one of the infamous traps?

Some interesting numbers if you get into that sort of thing:

Minnesota are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 away games
Minnesota are 1-5-0 SU in their last 6 games after being 3.5 to 7 point favorites
Minnesota are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games
Minnesota are 2-4-0 ATS in their last 6 away games against New Orleans
New Orleans are 4-1-0 OU in their last 5 games
New Orleans are 6-2-0 SU in their last 8 games after scoring 10 to 20 points
New Orleans are 16-8-0 OU in their last 24 at home
New Orleans are 4-2-0 ATS in their last 6 home games against Minnesota

These numbers seem to provide a bit of substance for a valid argument if you like the Saints.

Thoughts and comments appreciated.

I've got no faith in the Saints, but I've seen the Vikings stink it up on the road far too often. Sitting this one out.

This is a tough game. I can see Minny blowing them out easily. But the Saints always see to pull a game out of theier arse........

Nice stats. I see the line at 4 at the moment but some books are already starting to move it to 4.5 and 5. Think it will be 5 -5.5 at game time. Like minny myself at 4.

I have open parlay:

2 Team Parlay #5670019
Football - NFL Lines
Game can be seen on CBS
(219) Pittsburgh Steelers +3 Sun@4:15p
Football - NFL Lines
Game can be seen on ESPN
(223) Minnesota Vikings -4 (-105) Sun@8:35p
Risk $183.33 to win $499.99

I always struggle with this decision. I really like the Vikings, but I know anyone with any sense will take the gauranteed money and at least hedge for $185 on Aints +4. The constant struggle in this gamblers mind - sound decision making clouded by greed.

Note, odds have no switched to Vikings -4 (-115) from the -4 (-105) earier. Seems the money expected as game time approached is indeed coming on Vikes.

Local has 4 and 52..

No Onterrio Smith --suspension... You mean this game is going over. I hope The Vikings enjoyed The French Quarter last nite.

ahhhh heck..they are young guys , they can handle it !

I hate these two teams so i took the UNDER 52.

UPON further review the receivers left pinky toe was out of bounds.
The call on the field of touchdown is overturned.
Block that kick, wide to the right, oh my goodness it hit the upright.

Vikes 26 Saints 23 as Culpepper takes the knee on the Saints 10 yardline just like Jake The Snake did vs. Carolina.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUUUUUUCK ALL

Personally i wouldnt bet the Saints with your money but this being a Prime time game for them i look for them to bounce back after the Cardinals loss but it would not surprise me at all if they down 28-7 at halftime.
