because Glennon got millions to make the Bears look respectable while Trib boy got to learn the pro set without getting the snot beat out of him..
but Bear brass must have saw enuff in practice to saw screw the millions invested in Glennon and let the kid take his lumps and give the fans what the want..
the roll out ..pass...run..scramble..... wonderboy...
problem is.........THEY DON'T LAST...........

This officiating crew was atrocious.....however i do have a question does anybody know the actual rule?
I know if a wr goes out of bounds he can't be the first to touch the ball or it's a penalty (same on a punt that's downed by a gunner coming from on who touches the ball first) but what about a defender?
Reason I ask is that it was clear as day that smith came from out of bounds to make the pick and was obviously first to touch the ball.....of course it wasn't even mentioned on the telecast but what is the rule??
