Wease, before I "address" this, are you being serious, or are you joking about the players and especially about Taylor sucking?

He's joking...

...My fault for calling AP "bad".

I obviously didn't mean "bad" in a Ryan Leaf, or Akili Smith kinda way, should have used 'over-rated', or 'under-performing'.

WEAK LINE THEY HAD 1 BAD GAME ALL YEAR
ARGUEABLY THE BEST LEFT SIDE IN THE GAME

I think they have been kind of poor with the center and right guard.. I know I read your thread where it was said that center holds his own but he gets pushed back all the time and herrera is mediocre.. Chile needs to run left more and more..

Two things - and really ONLY two things that worry me about this matchup, is the middle front of the Cowboys (Ratliff, Brooking, James) against the undersized Sullivan, and the Vikes defensive backfield giving up big plays. I don't think Brinkley will be in the defensive scheme all that much, I think the Vikes will play a ton of nickel and dime packages, allowing the front and two quality linebackers control the run and put pressure on the pass. I don't look for them to have Winfield in a strict CB position this game, I look for him to be a kind of rover, keeping an eye on Witten and supporting the run, which is what he does best.

The main reason Peterson fumbles the ball is that he tries to make too much out of plays, and forces contact with the opposition. It's not because he's weak, or purely fumble prone. And if you guys think he's not a big play touchdown waiting to happen in this game and any other, well, good luck with that.

I think we'll see more FB sets, and more 2 TE sets for the Vikings tomorrow, giving Favre more time, and allowing him to make decisions. I don't know why people think that Romo will make a ton of great decisions and do a ton of 3 step drops, and Favre won't, but whatever you think. I'll stick by preferring Favre over Romo in this situation, as long as they keep enough help in there against the pass rush - which I think they will.

I don't think the Cowboys defensive backs are all that great, really, but the defense is really good. I think the Vikes receivers will be able to make a big play or two when matched up, and Favre will certainly realize single coverage when it's there.

Really getting fired up for this game. The Saints look terrific today, and I still think they are the best team in the league. I'm not sure the Vikings will be able to stop that passing attack, if they do make it to the big game. The Saints really should be able to cause problems for the Vikes pass defense.

Right On.. Although the Vikes might want to spread that defense out a little bit with a 3 wr set with one tail back..Vikes don't rune well when they bunch it up.

lot of emotion , for viking n cowboy fans !!going back to 70's when either team was the nfc rep 9 times!!!!!! don't think there's anything someone can say to change our minds. Nate wright was pushed!!!As a viking fan not even g.b or the bears are disliked as much as americas team and all their fans!! I think alot of people believe what they hear from the experts!!!at first it was all g.b over the cardinals . cardinals had no chance. then all cardinals. saints were reeling. Same with the ravens all you hear is how great they are!!!their defense forgetting everything the colts have done. The cowboys have won four in a row dominated the eagles n skins. beat the saints. they've scored 90n given up 30 won a playoff game. the talk of the town. everyone says you can't count the giant game, but if they would've won i'm sure you could . they tried they were just dominated same as the bengals. if 90points n 4 games is hot . how about 70 in the last 6 quarters. 35-9 avg score last 5 home games. 8-0 all season. vikings are 4-1 against similar opps. the cowboys are 2-3. sometimes that means alot, but we'll find out tommorrow . i can't bet objectively tomorrow . i'd give anything for the vikes to win!!!!! best of luck to us!! skol vikes!!

You continue being a fan, because if you like to bet, this thinking is going to send you straight to bankrupcy, similar opponents means NOTHING when you bet, different times, moments, thinking, stratergy, etc..

Great game to come :0corn

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
personally i think one of the overlooked weaknesses of the queens is their secondary......they can be had.

i also think that dallas dline can have a bigger day than the minn dline.....home field and crowd noise could be the neutralizer.

should be a good game.....hate both teams.....but think dal wins 24-17
An accurate and concise assessment, IMO. I'll try and add to it.

Favre has been far too comfortable all season: 3 interceptions in the first 11 games.

Favre has been entirely too comfortable at home: 8-0.

Favre has been far less comfortable recently: two beatdowns and 3 losses in the last 5 games.

If Favre is made uncomfortable, should be a 4:0corn or 5:0corn playoff game out of 5.

I've said it all season, and its played out exactly that way: Romo is streaky good just as surely as he's been streaky bad.

Give a bad coach like Childress two weeks, and you'll likely see his true colors.

BARBER IS GOING TO BE LIMITED SUNDAY

HE STILL CANT CUT AND HAS CONSIDERABLE PAIN AND SWELLING -

Barber is healthier than Winfield who will be limited to inside coverage only. Also, Cowboys didn't look like they missed him at all last week, that is why you don't put eggs in one basket.

Lay off the lead pipe BP, those may be decent Queens receivers but Austin is a hell of a lot better. He's faster, catches the ball more often, gains more yards after the play, etc. Way better than any of the Queens receivers.

I like how you gave the Queens an edge in almost every single category, being a delusional homer. At this point in the season Romo is playing about 10x better than Favre. Our defense is much better than the Vikings. This game matches up well for the most part but the Cowboys have been the hotter team recently and are going to eat you up come Sunday.

As I said, Rice was the difference, lets be honest, Favre just sent two stupid passes that depended on the WR and he got it!! Great job Sidney!!

At what point does Brad Childress start getting one little bit of credit? This team was extremely well prepared today, and well coached. Special teams were incredible all day. I just think Childress has improved a lot over his tenure in making adjustments and having his team ready to play in the 3rd quarter this season, unlike in season's past.

Saints present matchup problems, but the Vikes should contain their rushing attack. The problem is, the Saints can probably succeed as a one dimensional team, if need be. Really intriguing matchup.

I was bored n came by the NFL forum but havent been on the site in quite some time...the bantering on here has gotten ridiculous n now i know why some people....like Ax in the NBA forum, dont come on here as much. That being said, i am a lifelong Cowboy fan and hope they can ride the wave into the SB. Anyhow, look at the previous recent opponents for Dallas. Philly twice...who has beat only one .500+ team all year (ATL minus key players), NO (who tanked it at end of year n had nothing to play for), and a sorry Skins team who quit on their ex-coach to be. True, the Dallas D is playin amazing and it is momentum that often leads to playoff success. The D secondary (especially terence newman) is still suspect at times in my opinion which will be their ultimate downfall...and has gotten away w long dropped/missed passes in the past weeks from what ive seen on behalf of opposing qb's/receivers. I see lots of blitzes/pressure etc by Dallas and, in return, MANY screens, draws, and quick in and out patterns by MN to loosen them up and take the pressure off Fagre....followed by a couple long bombs for a score or some good yardage at least. Too many weapons for MN in Peterson, Rice, Harvin, Shiancoe, Taylor, Berrian, and Favre. Lastly, whenever there is major positive hype in the media (ESPN) about a particular aspect of a team (like this week all you hear about is the Dallas D), the opposing Defense and team in general comes out to play on account they feel disrespected. Coaching is equally mediocre, field position and D will be key as usual esp in the playoffs, and i see MN pulling it out by 6 and leaning Under. I hope im wrong though;)...

Turned out to be a fairly decent analysis i dont mind sayin....except for the points won by. Congrats MN backers....should be a good game this week.
