My favorite play of the night is, by far, Nova. Got em last night at Pinnacle at -4 (+107). Seems some steam has knocked it up to -4' (-107). SOmehow I doubt it was my huge $150 that did it :moon:



Anyway, Memphis is not as good as their record. They've beaten up on some mid level teams. Carney their best player is out and Burks is hurting. Even with them they are not a fundamentally sound team. Nova coming off a battle at KU and could have won it. Now back home and hungry for a win against a team they match up pretty well against.


I haven't heard if Fraser is going to play, but I'm guessing he's out since the line isn't 7 or so. If anybody has heard...

Jeff, as stated in my thread this isnt a "home" game for Nova as it will be played in the Wachovia center. still a home game IMO.

Also VI states that center Fraser has returned and will play...

I'm not overly concerened about the home court deal. It's still in Philly so it will still be a Nova crowd. Thanks for the info on Fraser. Only makes me feel stronger about this one.

There are a few stories about their problems including Carney's injury in the Memphis Appeal. I tried to go back and cut and paste them but there was something screwy going on with their site. If you check it out sometime today you should be able to read it.

you mean a team FT shooting mark of 59% isnt fundamentally sound? you cant possible expect them to hit more than that!

no lean for me in this one, but anyone who goes anti-memphis always has a significant fundamental edge before the ball is tossed up at center court.

Also playing G-Town/BC under 139.5 at Pinnacle. The juice is -120 but this should be a low scoring slugfest.

Sorry for what looks like a lousy call guys. Tied at the half and now Villanove has been outscored 14-1 in the second half. 30 pts in 26 minutes just isn't going to get the job done. They look like they don't even care.
