Good info, I hate skip bayless and woody paige. Skip is a fag and woody is looking like one more everyday.

I do not know how VY will do in the pros, ever since i saw him last year against KU I said I dont know how they could lose a game with this kid. I mean KU had the door shut and locked. So i cannot say I have ever seen VY be stopped, but the mobile QB in the NCAA has much more success than in the NFL where they have the speed to counter such athletes.

Will VY be like the option play? Very Effective in college and non existent in pros? I doubt it. Will Houstons regret taking reggie bush over VY, i doubt it as well. Both should have very solid careers in the NFL, i just hope the hype that will be around them doesnt kill them like so many other "greats" that are just pretty-goods and are looked upon as failures.

did vy ever drop back to pass at texas or was everything run out of the read option/shotgun.

i have mixed fellings on if this guy will be a huge success in the nfl....his mechanics are terrible and his balls down the middle are floaters that basically were jump balls.....he is fairly good 15 yrds and under but will see completely different looks and as much speed in the nfl from linebackers, db's and safetys.

I am curious if you have actually seen more than a couple of VY's games. Your take on his play is indicative of those who have only seen a limited amount of his action.

I dont respect anyone on that show, PARTICULARLY skippy B.

He's wrong about Young IMO. I'm not a Vince Young fan, but he reminds me more of a Randall Cunningham or a McNabb than thuglife Vick.

I think the difference maker is that he is a better passer, AND actually has poise/composure LATE in games, similar to McNabb a few years ago. What he did in the rose bowl, AGAIN, against a team loaded with NFL prospects is indicative of his future success at that level. Maybe he wont be the GREATEST of all time, but definately good enough to take a team to the playoffs more than once. Definately not a bust. If Vick,whose success is debated, but unrecognized by me, can have even SLIGHT success in the NFL, theres no way you can predict VY to be a bust.

I agree with most your statements about Young, just not Vick. Vick took VT to the NC too, and kept his team in it for most of the game against a very very very good FSU. Vick was a stud in college and IMO has been a unique and succesful QB on the next level.

Does he need to win SB? Not to many successes in your book.
