I was wondering the same thing - are VIP and Bet Holdem the same?

They have the same interface, so I bet they are. I wonder if we will have the same issues next week at Bet Holdem?

Thanks Phenom for trying to take care of this. I know it is hard having to pinch hit for the guy in charge.

Me thinks I'll just stick to the Pokerstars tourney's for now on. I'm sure I'll won't have any chance to win the MJ's title by doing that, but I just don't think I'd want to play at VIP ever again.

The biggest gripe I have with them - I can understand site problems - but when I got in, they wouldn't allow late registration.

It's a customer service thing - they KNEW they were having issues, and that some people may get in later. They should have changed it to allow late registration when they knew they were having problems.

I'm betting they were having issues most of the day (I didn't get out there earlier today) - so they should have been proactive and taken care of the late registration edit.

If I have a vote,
-refund the people that paid and couldn't play

- let the people that paid and played keep their winnings.

-Don't count the MJ points, since many people couldn't get in

- Stick to Pokerstars for the tourneys, everyone seems to play there and a lot of these other sites seem to have WAY too many problems

The Upstate
VIP "customer service" gave me the run around for two hours, said they would email or call me, neither of which was done, and when I contacted them again tonight, they told me to call the Poker Manager tomorrow...:com: :mj07: :sadwave:

Time to let Jack weigh in on the situation, I won't post any results until I get his decision.

I AGREE:com:

I think what PISSES me of the most is, I spent over SIX Hours trying to get this set up to play. I had issues 2-3 days ago trying to get it to work. Had to give up due to the fact I have other responsibilities. Then came back to it this afternoon, and went at it again:scared Another FOUR Hours wasted. Got the money in, registered an hour before, then when I come back, I cant get in:nono: I wont play there again period. To many other places as far as I'm concerned.........

JMHO...

OK
after 3 bad passwords logiins you are locked out, customer service has to reset the account. The customer service people do not have your password????

If you don't know your password, you can request it by email on the "forgot password link" on the sign on screen.

Ok starting to agree w/the rest of u here now.

Last nite I had no prob. logging in or playing, software not the greatest compared to other sites, but that does not bother me, one way or the other, just interested in making money, so that didn't affect me.

But the morning I get a call from on their Sales People offering my 40 percent free on next reload, and that is the ONE thing that turns me off from any poker room or sportsbooks, the mother fukers who call me at home when I am not asking them to.

SO BYE BYE VIP and I am like the rest of you prob won't mess w/bet holdem either, prob operate the same way:sadwave: :sadwave:
