Clemson is a very average(at best) road team. If Virginia can limit their tournovers and handle the press, they can not only cover the spread, but win.

Yeah Clemson is average on the road only winning at Illinois, at Miami by 19, at South Carolina, at Virginia Tech and at Boston College. You call that average? Can I be your bookie? :142smilie

ooops..well whoever he's talking at, he's not making sense..Clemson didn't step up and lost to a Virginia team that only mustered 1 win in the conference before that game...to the only other team worse them them in conference..On paper no way Clemson should have lost that game..BUT they did...

I am talking about historically and in the conference. The reason why they've melted the last 3 years is because they couldn't win on the road.

They beatup on Miami when Miami was down and just playing awful.

You take Clemson on the road and I'll take the doggie spread. Typically, when they do win on the road, it's like last night...sloppy and maybe some luck on their side, but last night they couldn't get it done.
