In their last 10 games, they dropped 3 of 4 to the Angels, 1 of 3 to Tampa Bay and 2 of 3 to Texas. During that same period, Oakland won 9 of 10. They are fresh off a sweep of the Red Sox, a sweep of Detroit, and winning 2 of 3 to the Indians. During that period they averaged 7.2 runs per game.

They are playing at home. Why are they only -125? Is it just the public's love affair with the Yankees?

they have only completed 31 saves out of 52 svo.

as for the rest some worse some about the same.
their on base avg is above 300 except for isringhausn and hell his should be below that as a closer.
why do you think the a's live or die with starters? because have to.
you can't run tam and isringhausn out everyday.
yes starters are doing a great job but they have also been left in at times when other teams would go to the pin because its weak.
look at innings pitched.pitchers(starters have to fight for there life because they have been let down more then helped all year,check your stats from the early part,they were like throwing gas on a fire.
its not that they are in trouble inning wise its numbers wise 2.5 pitcher maybe 3 total overall and thats combining them stat wise not person wise. you will see,if starting pitchers don't get it done for a's they donot win the games. and its been like that all year.

i thought we were talking about tonights game....know all the season stats etc etc etc...bullpen situations change from day to day......tam goes back to his more comfort zone role of strictly setup w/ mecir out..vizcanio moves up/magangate does his lefty role which all he needs to do... on a daily handicap its not the starters as a whole but as an individual matchup and whose aviaviable....looking at the starters the group "b" bullpen should not even be in the game if the inferred line pans out ...

no i stated it wrong it was more that the a's bp scares me over all,and that was a big reason i didnot play them today,they have been good to me the 2nd half,but i also got kicked in the teeth the first of the year .
do you have a read ie on the angels game?
