VMI vs ETSU

Two teams that like to gun. ETSU lost their two big men and will not have any player on the court over 6'5". They are red shirting the big 6'10" frosh. So, I expect to see about 50 3pt shots in this game. I expect a lot of layups since there will be no one to protect the rim. I look for a back and forth game and as long as we get some flow and not more than 35 turnovers then we should get this. Both teams shoot better than 70% FT's as well. I expect the game to start fast. Then ETSU will evaluate if they want to keep the game at breakneck speed or slow it down. I think they will keep it going as they will find offense success. Look for a nice fast paced game. I expect ETSU to win but by 5 or 6. Will not be surprised to see both teams in the 90's.

Boy was I off a little bit on the total 3's. I wanted 50 and we got 65... VMI took 45 3's on their own. WOW! We did get less than 35 turnovers which is good. However, we got this total because of the 71 FT's. Anyway- These two will play again because ETSU is a new SOCON school so we will look at this play again in about 5 weeks.
