Here is my take on tonight's game at the Hen House. South Carolina's role from here on out is spoiler. They are not a good basketball team. The other point is that the Vols are not good on the road.

Here is the key thing for the Vols:
The Vols are tied with Bama for 4th in the SEC.(LSU is tied, but they are getting killed against Ole Miss) 4th place gets you a first round bye in the SEC tourney.

If the Vols win tonight coupled with a Bama loss, they are in sole possession of 4th. If Bama beats Cowbell, then the Vols would need Bama to lose one of their two remaining games.

This is one that Tennessee has to have, period. They are at LSU and at home to Vandy, so they have by far the toughest last week of these in the mix.

Stansbury should be fired after tonight's debacle. MSU has Moutrie, predicted #4 pick in the NBA draft and they're beyond putrid. Can't figure why Stansdingleberry can save his job after this collapse which will be a NIT berth at best. Team has a lot of talent... Have Bill Self & Danny Manning as the assistant (I am biased, but they're incredible coaching duo) and Miss State is heading to the Final 4 with their talent.... Self and Manning are a sick combo... kids are going to realize soon this is the best Head Coach, Assistant Coach combo in America.
