Voter Identification Laws

Eugene Robinson, resident race baiter for The Washington Post, has written yet another article about the Republicans and their supposed voter suppression by asking for identification. Can you believe the gall of these Republicans? How dare they ask someone to present an ID to vote? It is just so totally un-American! As if! He cites the various classes of people, (liberals love to put people in class distinctions), that would be forever hurt by this cruel and unreasonable request. According to Robinson, minorities are so stupid and lazy that they cannot get a free, state offered identification card. Robinson and his ilk are so blinded by their inferior ideology, that they do not see how insulting they are to minorities of all stripes.

The next class, the youth of America, is interesting to me on a different level. He correctly cites that the youth vote overwhelmingly democratic. I have always found this to be quite telling. The youth, predominately liberal, are by definition, inexperienced, unworldly and immature. They are mostly a bunch of college kids who have never worked full time, have never supported themselves, and most importantly, have never paid taxes. Since they have never paid taxes, they feel that the liberal mantra; taking money from people who earn it and giving it to people who don't, is just and right. When they start paying taxes, the informed ones become conservatives, the uninformed remain, well, uninformed. Remember, 18 year olds got the right to vote because during the Vietnam war you could be drafted into war, but could not vote. At the time, 18 year olds could also legally buy alcoholic beverages. Well, there is no draft and the drinking age is 21. Is an ID too much to ask?

Robinson claims there is no voter fraud in this country. How does he know? The answer is he doesn't. Why wouldn't everyone want a level playing field? All one has to do is look to the unions who are trying to do away with the right to vote for unionization in private. Nixon knew that Kennedy won Illinois by nefarious means, but decided to keep his mouth shut for the good of the country. Somehow I can't see the reverse happening. After all, the only time the voting machines work flawlessly, is when the democrats win.

So Obama thinks he killed Bin Laden. Yeah, in his dreams. He Okayed the order to take him out. Actually killing Bin Laden yourself is a little different than his qualifications for president, handing out fliers on windshields. Kudos to the Navy Seals for doing what they do best: Protect America!.......Obama is taking credit for the increase in domestic oil production, while doing everything he can to suppress all future energy. You know the energy of which I speak, the energy that actually works. Meanwhile he is promoting energy that does not even exist. More disturbing, is that he uses our money to subsidize fantasy energy companies involving his big donors. We cannot do any oil exploration on land or put in any oil pipeline until we have satisfied every possible aspect of every possible specie to the point of nausea. Meanwhile, back at the “wind farm”, birds are being killed at rate so high that the estimates are between 500,000-1,000,000 per year. It is so bad that the wind turbines have been dubbed “bird blenders”. Apparently caribou good, birds, not so much…..The EPA originated in December of 1970. Our domestic oil production hit a high in 1971 of 9.7 million gallons a year. Until then, our domestic production grew at a rate of 3% per year. At that rate, we would be producing 35 million barrels a day in 2012. We use 19 million barrels a day. We now produce 5.7 million barrels a day. The president lies when he says that we only have 2% of the world’s oil. We have 60 times that. He says that we use 22% of the world’s oil. So what! News flash, we use about 22% of the world’s everything. So the next time some liberal, more worried about some nonexistent environmental problem, says that we cannot drill our way to energy independence, understand them for what they are; ill-informed, naïve, or dare I say a liar, but more than likely, all of the above.
