Carolina can't expect to outscore opponents every week. UNC's defensive front 7 is atrocious and in a rain-filled game I think there is a lot of value in VT on the ML.

You may be right. Forecast is 100 percent chance of rain with 20 mph winds.
That also means a Va Tech DB has to cover Switzer half the game with UNC QB throwing with wind to his back. I predict Switzer and maybe Proehl still have a big day.

the stadium is built facing east to west, maybe slightly on a slant. the heavy wind is from the NNE, so it will be more of a crosswind than to anyones back. pass game should be a nightmare.

Now it is VT -2.5.
Weather here is miserable. Not sure of field conditions at Kenan Stadium.
Hope the idiot band members get muddy kneeling for the National Anthem.
