The NCAA tournament pool I ran on madjacks went fine with the exception on one person.

vyrus858 ( Cyrus M.) used a fradulent credit card on paypal to pay me and paypal ended up reversing the charges on me and adding a $10.00 charge on top of it.


vyrus858 did not respond to any of the emails I sent so it looks like I lose out $30 on the transaction.

What I find ironic are the numbers used in the names of both posters.

If you take 858 and subtract 190, the total is 668.

I was not in this pool, but I have made a couple of online friendly wagers at my place and at anothers. It comes out like this:

First time it was a guy from Maine... I won. Prize 2 live MAine lobsters sent to my house. The guy had it to me within 2 weeks, and they were freakin huge...and alive which scared the crap out of me!!!! They lived in my tub until dinner later that evening! LOL!

The next guy was from PA/S. NJ and he welched on a Pennsylvania care type package. Hat, Philly Cheesesteaks etc..
It always takes one freakin idiot to spoil the fun!!!

Thank you for the offer but that is not necessary. I can afford the hit, no big deal. Just always mystifies me how some one can sell out their reputation and integity over such a small amount of money.Going into it I figured I get burned by someone.

On the other hand, over 50 strangers trusted me enough to send me 10 bucks each on my good name alone, so i feel good about that.

We will do it again next year when my Syracuse Orange win the title again in their new uniforms and logos.

I had never recieved any e-mails to be truthful, might be my hotmail e-mail...I just noticed your posts after blackman had responded to one of my threads...The credit card was my own, Cyrus Moinzadeh, and I had someone stealing money out of my paypal account so all the charges were reversed and I unfortunatley forgot I had made a payment myself for the tourney...If you can send me your information to slob01@hotmail.com I will be more than willing to reimburse you...I hope you understand and sorry about what happened...I honestly did not realize until this point that that particular charge would be reverse as well...sorry
