After being shut down by flamethrowing righty Jorge Sosa last night,
the Phillies will welcome a change of pace by facing the soft-tossing
southpaw. Philadelphia has had great success against Ramirez this
season in his four starts opposite them, scoring 22 ER in 16.2 innings,
good for an astronomical 11.88 ERA and .403 BAA. They clearly are
locked in on him and are good against lefties in general (13-11,
+265 on the road). Ramirez may show some rust as he has been the
odd man out in the rotation and been subject to an irregular schedule
(he last started a week ago). Brett Myers has been the Phillies most
profitable pitcher. He has produced on the road at night (6-3, +$345)
and his numbers on the road overall are very strong (2.87 ERA, .196 BAA).
