My beloved Hawaii ventures to Reno where the altitude can give them problems. Also, Nevada is playing good ball especially at home and has possible NIT invite on the horizon. Hawaii wants more as it wants to win WAC and go to the Big Dance. As stated before, this Hawaii team has been underrated all year and will cover the -1.5 at Nevada. Trust me on this one. Hawaii is a solid team and is very team oriented as well as focused on winning. Hawaii wins this game and it becomes the #1 seed in the WAC tournament.
Another solid play is Tulsa -9.5 over Rice. Tulsa & Hawaii the two best teams in the WAC; Rice not. Tulsa walloped Rice at home by 19 pts. Should be about the same as Tulsa travels well. Lay it.
UTEP season has fell below expectations. SMU should handle UTEP and the -1.5. See SMU winning by 7-9pts.
LA Tech one of the hotter teams and could be the dark horse of the WAC tournament. Even tho they are on the road and will be fighting the altitude problem, I can't see them losing to Boise State. LA Tech should easily cover the -3.5
Fresno remains an enigma. By right they should cream San Jose State but just can't trust them. I don't know which team will show up. Pass!
