gsp,

You know it's not that easy. If I were to play every team I think is going to win tonight, I would be laying chalk overall, and I would lose money because half of those favorites won't win. It's baseball, and anything can happen, unless of course you happen to play a dog in the month of April!

Maybe you think more of them will win than I do. I'm 8-1 on posted straight bets and 1-6 on posted pars. The par hit 12 to 1 so am ok there. The truth is that I play more than I post and I'm down slightly for the week. I started too early this year and plan to be ahead by the end of the week. NY over and CWS put me in position to win on a small par tonight Have a much larger one working.

then how about stop betting on Baseball. normally you bet on what you think will win not the value of a bet. hell i lost 200 today because of value of a bet. i knew the yankess would win but figured what the hell 2.7 to 1 who can pass up those odds.. maybe baseball just isnt your sport. stick to what you are good at which is college hoops and NBA and the off the wall bets like hockey and tennis and stuff. just an idea. i hope i didnt come off the wrong way to you man. but good luck at whatever you do

Major,

I'm not offended by your post at all. I respect your opinion. I don't claim to be a great baseball capper, but having said that, I'm still up $860 so far. That appears to be $543 more than what you've made. So, I don't know if, "Stick to what you're good at...," was the right choice of words. Best of luck to you!

Playing favorites in baseball is nothing like laying points in football or hoops. That is why it is possible to be very successful playing favorites in baseball because you are simply looking for the winner. Yes, the lines change the percentage you need to hit to stay ahead.

WW dont sweat it... I started following your dog playin the last fews and lost, but I think it's the right strategy. It pays if you play the right games. I'm embarass to say that I have a winning record (22-19), but I'm I down -420. Just picking the wrong games to bet high and the right games to lose. LONG SEASON...

lol didnt mean it like that.. but of course you would have more of a bankroll than me since you bet more per game than me. your bets range from 500 to 1000, mine are 100 to 300. if every game i bet was 500 to 1000 i would be one rich MF but i just dont bet like that. when i say stick to what you are good at im saying you WIN ALOT in Hoops, but you have the wrong idea about Bases... bases are different from hoops..i start slow in all sports but in the end i will be positive...Very positive..Bases is my BEST sport i bet on..But like i said good luck. i hope everything turns around for you. i know you want to win and i want you to win. I hate seeing anyone lose. the mall is here for 1 reason thats to help us all make money. we win some we lose some but in the end its all about making $$$.

I love Washington. Pedro isn't the same and Nationals have great value IMO. Also like TBay. Keep picking your games and they will turn around sooner than later.

I follow you religiously, but aren't you shunning the plan to just play with your profits?

You tell me Wise? I wish I could be 1/4 of the capper you are, but you seem like you are going for broke.

Record: [28-35]
Win Percentage: .444
Profit/Loss: +1,860

Yesterday, I had eight plays. Seven of the eight plays were dogs. I ended up with a 2-6 record. Of course, the only favorite I played (Cubs) lost. I was so frustrated by the end of the night that I considered taking a hiatus. Well, after thinking about it some more, I have decided to play with the $1,860 I have made so far. If I lose that, then it probably will be time for me to step away. I have also decided to vary the amounts of my wagers for the time being. For example, plays that I'm less certain about might be played for $250, whereas plays that I'm really confident about might be played for $1,500. I normally don't do this, I think it's smarter in the long run to put the same amount on every play, but I need to try something different until I get out of this funk. Let's see what happens today. Hey, if nothing else, I might be a great fade for you guys. Maybe I can help you win money that way.

Best of luck!

So you abandoned just about everything you wrote only this morning already. Impressive.
