Atlantic Coast supremacy is on the line when 15th-ranked Wake Forest (17-3 SU, 11-5 ATS) visits 16th-ranked Maryland (15-6 SU, 6-12 ATS). The Demon Deacons currently maintain a 7-2 conference record, a half-game ahead of the Terrapins at 7-3.

Las Vegas Sports Consultants opened Maryland as a seven-point home favorite over Wake Forest, with the total listed at 154.

Wake Forest improved to 4-1 both SU and ATS its last five games after beating eighth-ranked Duke in double overtime as a one-point home ?chalk,? 94-80. The Demon Deacons rebounded from a setback to 11th-ranked Marquette as a five-point road underdog, 68-61, to defeat the Blue Devils.

Sixty-four fouls were called in the double-overtime victory with eight players fouling out. Wake Forest had lost 14 in a row to Duke over six years before outscoring the Blue Devils 20-6 in the second overtime.

Vytas Danelius had 20 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to pace the Demon Deacons. Justin Gray added 18 points and Jamaal Levy pitched in with 15 and 13 rebounds.

Gray, a freshman point guard, returned to action after missing a month due to a broken jaw suffered a month ago versus Duke. Wake Forest limited the Blue Devils to 32 percent shooting (23-of-73) from the field, while also winning the rebounding battle (50-36).

The Demon Deacons are a modest 4-3 both SU and ATS on the road, opposed to their 13-0 SU and 7-2 ATS home ledger. Wake Forest follows this contest with a road date versus Georgia Tech before returning home to take on Virginia.

The Demon Deacons defeated Maryland Jan. 15 as a slight 1 ?-point home favorite, 81-72. Josh Howard had 23 points and eight rebounds for Wake Forest as the school ended a seven-game slide versus the Terps. Gray did not play in that contest.

Maryland had its school-record 14-game ACC winning streak snapped with that setback. Steve Blake had 15 points and seven assists in a losing effort, while teammate Calvin McCall added 10 points off the bench.

The Terrapins were mired in a rare two-game SU losing funk before slipping past upset-minded Florida State as a 6 ?-point road ?chalk,? 74-72. That marked the fourth consecutive contest that the Terps failed to cover.

Blake, 15 points, drilled a 3-pointer with 2:38 remaining to snap a tie with the Seminoles. Drew Nicholas contributed with 20 points, while Tahj Holden added 11 and nine rebounds. Maryland is the first ACC team to notch three conference road victories.

The Terrapins maintain an 11-2 SU and 5-5 ATS home record, beating opponents by an average score of 85-61. Maryland travels to Duke after this contest before home games against North Carolina and Clemson.

Fox Sports Net will begin coverage of this critical ACC contest starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.
