Pretty much a continuation of what I wrote here... yeah, Philly IS finding excuses for canceling races and it is annoying. BUT, the races they do run are acting just like they used to AND the fields for many of them are just the right size. I've been doing like I used to the past 2 Philly racing weeks and that's a good thing alright.
I'd really like to share the picks but not to myself. This forum is atrocious. Here's where we're at right now for me to give it a shot at posting again... like I used to that is -
MJ hoss playes : Sorry, but ya gotta let me know that you're here; doesn't matter if ya play along with the picks or not. Right now, there's only one MJer that I know is here even if he doesn't let me know in my threads and I'm fine on days he doesn't and that's DT. BTW, he almost ALWAYS let's me know anyway.
Visitors and MJers who just like to read the stories: All 100+ of yas that stop in here. I spend hours handicapping the "plicks" and it's too much trouble to take the couple of minutes to sign up - IT'S FREE. You can post something that you want to, reply to a poster even just to let him/her know you bothered to read their stuff, or just read the posts and/or even make some online friends. No hassles or charges at all.
Usually there's about 4 or more plays a day for me and I will start to post at least one of my picks because I'm really excited about the way things have been going at Philly for me lately. Here's a story for yas (I think the visitors are more interested in the stories than the picks)..
Yesterday was a little interesting, there were 4 plays for me. Most folks that read my stuff know that I try to beat the favorites which is the thing to do at this track methinks. Well, in the first 3 races I played - the finish line acted like a magnet for favorites and I coulda swore I was on my way to "going home' with empty pockets except for some scratch money I got back. Last race had a huge field, many of which LOOKED (ability wise) just like their opponents. Appeared to be a tough race. BUT, after doing a complete analysis on that race... no. 1 got rated WAY above all the othere... like WAY, WAY above. That one's margin was the largest I've seen a long time. I also liked the no. 4.
Now, another good reason to sign up is that I've posted plenty of times the "magic" exotic nos. Other posters have, in the past, also posted some good tips about how to play the hosses. Nos. 1,2,4 boxed are magic nos. for trifectas ESP. if the race goes 2 turns. Sho enough... 1-2-4, just like that too, made it another very NICE day. Guess what... I thought about it, but didn't play trifectas.. (dang thang paid something like $386) but I did hit the no. 1 to win pretty hard (20 dollar billS, really) and also nailed that nice exacta payoff for TWO stinkin dollars not one this time too. :00x8
Tuesday is usually a good day for me, so I'll be back here with ONE of my picks that should offer value for today. No need to type up all the plays for today cause I really don't need to practice my typing that nobody's interested in but hopefully my one pick a day will do good enough to get some interest (not referring to hundreds of VIEWers either; that doesn't mean a thing) in here and I can post all the picks again. Hell, even if the day's play runs up the twack enough times, that will attract some interest/attention even if it's not too friendly
G.L. footballin too.
