funny part is that even his recollection of the GBay Bears game is way overboard :mj07: What i recall is the third or fourth string quarterback on the brink of tying or going in the lead late before an interception. Not quite an ass kicking but if he say's so i guess we can all play along with him. :0002

The home team is supposed to win conference championship games.

Heck, the Packers were even favored over the vaunted Bears - as a #6 seed on the road!

Where it is real F ing COLD
I'm sure some of them are. I have no idea (and it hasn't been reported) what percent are or aren't.

But at least they have gone UP. Most states, even with summer employment propping them up, have gone down.

It is all relative - how is WI doing compared to the rest of the states (since last I looked, it is summer everywhere right now, and all states hire for the summer tourist season - it's not like WI is the tourist mecca of the nation).

How did MN do, for example? There jobs numbers should have gone way up, being a northern vacation state??? I didn't see the press release, so they must not have added jobs.

Do you have any idea what Northern WI is like? People from WI do not go to Minny to vacation unless they go to Valley Fair for a day, the people who vacation in Minnesota are from Minny already, mostly the Minneapolis area. Come up to Northern WI from Osceola, Centuria, Spooner, Wascott, Gordon, Minong, Hayward, Phillips, Ashland, Stone Lake, Shell Lake, Butternut, Park Falls, and Many others up here. These are all little small towns of about 500 - 2000, try driving through one right now. Takes forever, Mostly Minnesota and Illinois Plates, now go to areas in Minnesota around Duluth, Lake of the Woods, Vermillion, and Brainerd, guess what mostly Minnesota Plates some Illinois but mostly Minnnesota. They are all coming here. I do not know much about the southern part of WI but Northern WI is where it is at in the summer.

It hasn't been reported because the Governor (and you) are taking complete credit for the numbers without qualifying them - typical fuzzy math. What has been reported are the millions of taxpayer dollars that went to promote tourism in the state, and of course the jobs would be hired to back that up. Did taxpayers have any say in that? I doubt it - maybe you can be more specific on all of this, instead of hiding behind basic numbers that are what they are because the governor took money from one group to pay for another endeavor.

Right out of the Pawlenty playbook, there... nice job!

I can't believe it - job growth is up, and you still complain.
Who's complaining?

We're just pointing out how when job numbers are down, it's all Obama's fault but when job numbers are up, you give all the credit to Walker.

We're also pointing out how you haven't provided one scintilla of evidence to support your claims that jobs added in Wisconsin in June are the result of Walker's policies, nor have you provided any proof that they're anything other than temporary summer jobs.

Surely you've had time to locate some actual data to support your claims by now, Mags?

I am not against Walker or anyone cutting costs in a reasonable way. Public employees do not need unions. I believe the Left has been wrong on this particular issue. More of this will happen.

Of course workers need union. Management, where the waste is, does not and in Mass are not in union.

Unions are helpful in private trades, but they are redundant in government jobs. Certainly agree about wasteful management.

How are unions redundant in public jobs. That makes no sense at all.

Because public jobs come with benefits all the time. No other wasteful agency needs to be in the middle. It's redundant. It's different with private industry.

They come with benefits because of the unions. Private pay and benefits have gone down because of a lack of unions.
