Pistons -11 over Mil Bucks ***
Two teams going in different directions.Pistons under Brown have been on fire.They are 6-0 ats and have won 8 of last 9.Ben Wallace is a defensive wiz.Then they add head case Rasheed and he's has made the Pistons a force inside.They are 20-6 since that trade.
Pistons are the 2nd best defensive team in the NBA.They rebound,are quicker,etc,etc,Bucks lost 3 of last 4,dropped a few spots in seedings the last week.Bucks will have a tough time scoring inside.Pressure Redd and the Bucks are in big trouble.Det won 3 of 4 this yr.Pistons at home are 54-28 and the Bucks are 24-41 on the road.
Under 177 ** is a good play too.Smothering defense vs a team like Mil looks solid.Wallace X's[times] 2 is there new nickname in the paint.That equals a 15 pt win and cover.
Miami -5.5 over New Orleans ***
Van Gundy 2 has done the greatest coaching job this yr.I know about Hubie and the Grizzlies.But van gundy 2 has been awesome.So unnoticed.They ended the season on fire too.They play solid defense,Odum and Wade have been spectacular.Hornets are banged up big time.Mash is out.Wesley is hurting,Armstrong is questionable,PJ probable,and Baron coming off his sore ankle.Team did not play well down the strecth.Coach is a lame duck.
Miami is the "king" of NBA ats at 49-31.The under might be a good play also with everyone on the Hornets in the "mash" unit.

Minny -11 over Denver ***
Minny loaded.Garnett,latrell and Sammy.Team is 6-0 ats in last 6 games.They are 31-10 at home.Not a great double digit ats record but this is the playoffs.Carmelo and co will stay with the timberwolves for 15 minuts.Then its off to the races.Denver is one of the worst road teams at 14-27.Minny is a good ats team ranked 5th at 48-34.
Dallas +5.5 * and the Under 219 ***
The 2 worst defensive teams.Ranked 25th and 28 th out of 29 teams.Hard to capp this.Kings w/o Bobby J are a different team.With Webber they are 11-12.Thats unreal.You get your star player back and play .500.Stojak is unreal.Bibby,Divac and co loaded.But chemistry of team is giving them problems.
Mavs lucked out and missed the lakers in round 1.Dirk,Nash,Finley,Jamision are offensive machines.Throw in Antone Walker in the mix.What scoring.But Mavs are a terrible road team 16-25.Kings are 34-7 at home.And Kings lost 4 out of last 5 reg games and couldn't put the Warriors away in an important game.
Small play on the Mavs but like the under a lot at 219.Think maybe both teams will try to play at least 10 minuts of defense.
