Walmart plastic bags

How many do you have in your house?

Bought five items yesterday and ended up with eight bags.

I've been told they make good tie downs for a roof rack.

I have about 6 or 7.. and Super One bags (Grocery plastic bag)

Good for bathroom and vehicle garbage. Oh and also cat litter

No chain stores can use plastic bags in San Francisco. But I used to have a lot (well not from walmart, but close enough). I miss using them for small trash cans around the home.

Now you get a paper bag for everything, so I have stacks of paper bags in my kitchen. Makes me look like a hoarder. :facepalm:

Yeah it's an environment thing. Plastic recycling isn't nearly as effective as paper bag recycling.
Our city council passes this stuff all the time, cause keeping the roads paved and streets safe isn't sexy enough for them.

Interestingly there are some arguments that some of the processes of making paper bags is more harmful to the environment etc. It goes back and forth.

But the one nice consequence is there are way way fewer plastic bags just floating around the sidewalks etc. San Francisco gets pretty windy at times and they would just get caught in urban wind tunnels and you would see them flying by your 14th floor office building. Think the wind at Candlestick Park. It's nice not to have that so much anymore. :0074
