Love the show, have every episode on my computer, but it doesn't make me feel old. Then again, I never saw them when they originally aired. :0002
I always thought Winchester was underrated as a character. Lots of hardcore fans think any episodes after Frank left are worthless, but some of my favorite episodes are from the later seasons. I think Winchester was a much better foil for the Swamp Rats, because he was intelligent enough to give them a good battle unlike Ferret Face.
I've probably watched the whole series at least three times, except for the finale. I only watched that once. Very close second-best sitcom behind Seinfeld IMHO.

When I was a kid in the early 70's, I always thought about how old the movies "Wizard of Oz" and "King Kong" were. (40 years old)
Now, M*A*S*H fits that bill for someone who is a kid today.
