It is a pretty nice place to live. Let me know if you have any questions about schools , neighborhoods or nightlife.

Thanks, how's the fishing?

My brother goes deep sea fishing three times a year plus spends a month at the coast surf fishing.
A good friend just came back from several days fishing in Chesapeake Bay.
We have several rivers and lakes within 45 minute drive to give you plenty of fishing options.
You can also go up to West Jefferson or Boone and fish in the mountains.
A few years ago I rented home at Lake Watauga outside of Mountain City Tn and Boone. We rented pontoon boat in October when the leaves were changing.Had a great time.
If you are really a die hard go to Portsmouth Island and spend several days fishing.

Find fishing water in NC and chances are you found a chance to catch bass. All the major lakes in North Carolina have healthy populations of bass. These lakes include Apalachia Lake, B Everett Jordan Lake, Badin Lake, Belews Lake, Blewett Falls Lake, Chatuge Lake, Falls Lake, Fontana Lake, High Rock Lake, Hiwassee Lake, Hyco Reservoir, Kerr Lake, Kings Mountain Reservoir, Lake Gaston, Lake Glenville, Lake Hickory, Lake James, Lake Mattamuskeet, Lake Norman, Lake Rhodhiss, Lake Tillery, Lake Waccamaw, Lake Wylie, Mayo Reservoir, Mountain Island Lake, Phelps Lake, Roanoke Rapids Lake, Santeetlah Lake, Shearon Harris Reservoir and W Kerr Scott Reservoir.
North Carolina state record largemouth bass was taken from a privat pond and the state record smallmouth bass came form Hiwassee Reservoir.

You'll never leave the North woods. You'd have no Packer fans to mock (while their team beats you). Plus then you'd have to start cheering for Duke.
