**Disclaimer- in a cold streak at the moment (A&M /Utep/ EMU), but liked this tonight.
Wash St (-3) over Lobos
Both teams are reloading and the lobos have the edge in returning RB Moore. However this NM team was not good against the pass and with the losses in the secondary should still struggle with coverage. Now Wash has an unproven QB but the system has shown to be QB friendly and they do have a lot of talent returning on the O-line.
Defensively I think the system will cause problems for NM. The cougers were 6th against the rush last year. Take from that not too many cougers went pro or were out standing, it says something about average players in a great system. The best play for Wash St defense returns Will Derting and is being moved to MLB.
IMO defense scheme and O-line should help Washington state in this play. Cougers have talent returning just not staters from last year.
