I have read 2 separate articles today that said the best $$$ play in a division winner is the Washington Football Team to win the NFC East at 10-1 and 12-1 depending on the article. Out of curiosity I checked to see if my local had it available and he is offering Washington at 45-1!!! Admitting I am a sad Washington fan which is probably why the articles even caught my attention but would it be crazy to put a somewhat sizable play on this??? I know Washington is a poor team but being in a trash division and having a somewhat favorable schedule I just wanted to get some of the forum members thoughts on this.....

I would take 45-1 odds in a heart beat. The division is garbage and if they do end up starting Alex Smith (which I have read may happen) they are probably as good as anyone in the division since they probably have the best defense in the east. Small wager...anything can happen :shrug:

Looks like they are moving on to Kyle Allen at Qb, could be the spark the offense needs and if the defense gets healthy who knows. Good Luck with your bet, great value IMO
Think it is a worth a play. Looking at other sites I almost feel they flopped NYG line with WFT. NYG to have 3 x better odds seems crazy

My bet for WFT to win NFC East $110 to win $4950is still pending. Hoping site will honor. For a hedge position wondering option of:
1. $500 Eagle ML
2. $1k Eagles +4 and hope for middle
3. Let it ride thinking WFT definitely wins this game

I'd probably put 800-900 on Philly +4,guarantee a profit but hopefully win the original bet and does leave a chance at both.
I'd go more if Philly didn't have so many players out
only problem with hedging is that the original bet may not be honored

Your book is local. So you can talk to him. Step one would be to get him to acknowledge the bet you have, How? By telling him you have Washington at 45-1 to win division. "would it be ok if I hedged by playing Philadelphia today'? He's either going to say "No, you cant do that" at which point you'll say "Ok , I'll hedge somewhere else. Thanks" OR.... he can say, "no, that pending play was at incorrect odds, I'm not honoring it."
But EITHER way, you get him to acknowledge the play and know where you stand with him at the same time.
