I am leaning to Washington and the points...I think Ohio St. will win but I believe Washington is better than # 19 in the country. The quaterback threw for 28 touchdowns and a huge amount of yards last year. I think they will surpise Ohio St...please offer some feedback if I should think another way.

Virginia -16 (Duke is going to be better this year...I just don't think this will be the week!)

first, GL with the plays

i agree that they should cover the points (and maybe even win the game), but what scares me is that they have to come into Columbus against the defending nat'l champs who are gonna wanna PROVE that they are:

1) worthy of repeating and are not just a fluke champion
2) a great team without Clarett
3) more than just a defensive team

these things made me say no way on choosing a side here

but best of luck on the play jump!!

i also like wash. but so far am hesitant to play the game. the thing that i don't like is that wash. has to make a long trip, & sometimes teams that travel great distances show up flat for the game.

When you have a one-dimensional team like Washington going on the road to play a superior defensive team it is usually not a good situation. I know they played well vs. Michigan last year in the opener, but until Washington proves they can run the ball and has some backbone, they are going to be overrated in my book.
