What does the board think about Washington in the up-coming college football season? Will they be as over-valued as last year?

I would tend to believe that more than likely they will be undervalued this season. Ty has shown the abiliy to win with marginal talent at both Stanford and ND and he should be around 500% this year. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Ty is the type of coach whom is going to win National Titles, but he usually runs a clean program and fields a competitive team.

Phil Steele's Annual talked a lot about Ty's success only when little is expected. Same thing should show through here. Ty's a good coach, his fault lies with his loyalty to his coordinators

I believe that Washington will begin the season
slightly overvalued once again. The reason is
simply the higher expectations of the new regime.
But after the first 2 or 3 games, the little value
that we had as a "Go Against", will be gone.

I see the Huskies having an improvement on
last season's pathetic showing, but only by
2-3 games. Long way for that program
to go......We'll only know how effective
coach Willingham is, in a few years

I can tell you one thing. They didn't bring in top notch high school talent. Recruiting was below average. I agree with Master Cappers post about TY.

Thanks for the info. I tend to believe Washington will be a little over-valued in the beginning..due partially to a sympathy factor with Willingham and Washingtons past rep. However I don't think that will last long as Washington has poor talent and a very impatient fan base. As Seeker said, they might win 3-4 games this year.
