After the game, the Royals announced LHP Chris George, 21, will make his major league debut Thursday night. They purchased the contract of George from Omaha and optioned RHP Dan Reichert to Omaha. Reichert was scheduled to pitch Thursday night's game. At Omaha, George was 11-3 with a 3.53 ERA in 20 starts and 117 1-3 innings. He won his last seven starts. Reichert was 8-8 with 5.61 ERA in 19 starts for the Royals

watch the SEATTLE line jump up HUGE again....

Well it's not very often that I can talk about a pitcher from personal experience but it wasn't 4 years ago that I faced this guy Chris George in high school. Scouts were already drooling all over him. I can't believe he is now making his MLB debut! Granted, I'm sure he is not the exact same pitcher as then but he probably hasn't changed very much.

From what I have seen of him he throws about 88-90, has good control, good breaking ball and good change. Small guy, throws three quarter style, nothing really tricky about him. For any of you out there that get into "type of pitcher" matchups against certain teams, I hope this helps. GL out there!
