Frontline presents phenomenal programs. This was no exception. Very good at showing the struggle between Powell on one side and Cheney/Rumsfeld on the other. Narrator is the best on the planet.

I disagree with the program in that I never thought that the struggle between those two factions for Bushs' attention was a real battle. I thought Bush followed Cheney/Rumsfeld marching orders long before innaugeration day 2000. Powell was window dressing. He realized that in 04.

In my view, the Cheney regime (not so much the Bush regime) ends in January, 2009. God save America.

I'm not surprised that this thread is getting no response from the right wingers. They probably think PBS is run by Al-Queda, and this is "proof".

I agree 100%. What is really wild is how the strategy that the White House is bashing (getting the hell out) is the one they clung to for years.
