Hey WB. Excited about your 10u ucla play tonight you always have great insight on the line moves etc.... Was wondering what you thought about the line moving back to k st. Thx. Good luck!

58% on K St currently, line opened -2 K St, swung to -2 for UCLA now back to +1 UCLA. My kinda game, just like the Mizzou line dropping to -4 yesterday vs Minnysoda! Snyder is jinxed during Bowl games, Waters due for big turnover night, K State on the rd beat Oklahoma by 1, how'd Oklahoma do again this year? Ok. K State had to come from behind vs Iowa St to eek out a win and played a non-conf school in wk 1, S F Austin and gave up 9.4 yds per passing play. UCLA has some very good RBs and tall WRs. UCLA on the rd in Pac10, a conference that gets no love and all they are is 5-1 SU in bowl games, only loss was Arizona who easily could of backdoored Boise but didn't. UCLA talent wise is just too good and I like Hundley and their big WRs over mini-me Lockett and Jake Waters. I know Waters' family very well and the kid has been amped for this game and all his family will be down in the Alamo dome this evening and K State probably with a few more fans than UCLA will have, this place is a noisy fokken place for bowl games. For me, UCLA beating Arizona St on the rd handily, UVA which has a much better overall "D" than K State shows merrit over who K State has played this year. UCLA beat U Wash by 14 on the rd, Cal by 2 on the rd where they had to come back, beat Texas by 3 earlier in the year in wk 3, K State lost at home to Auburn and we saw how good Auburn was yesterday vs Wisky, Aub gave up huge yds on the ground vs Wisky, and Aub duplicated that vs Bama and they duplicated that vs K State, so this game comes down to kickers, field position and who turns the ball over the most.

UCLA is 9-2 SU this year and just 4-8 ATS, K State as a dog is 2-3 SU and now favored by just 1, so line swing of -2 to +2 to -1, someones middling this game cuz they have no feel for it. I have UCLA winning 3 or more here by 7 if K State turns the ball over. Special teams edge to no one but Lockett can be a game breaker for K St.

Last factor is, L4 games K State played, they beat KU pretty easily, everyone did this year except TCU, they beat WV @ WV after WV just got done beating Baylor, K St got beat up by TCU (UCLA offense much similar to TCU except in scoring ave margin) and K State lost by 11 @ Baylor. We saw how Baylor's "D" was yesterday now didn't we? UCLA won't play like that vs K State. This will be an all out war and for me, I'll take overall talent in this one vs overall coaching experience in Bill Snyder. Big 12 has how many bowl wins again? Oh yeah, 1, TCU. Oklahoma, Baylor, W Va, Texas all got beat and pretty handily except Baylor who lost a 21 pt lead in the 4thQ. :142smilie

GL tonight! I'm sticking with my play at +1 1/2 and I would have played it to -2 1/2.

But what do I know? I lost my Bowl Total cuz UNC had to give up possessions twice inside the 15 yd line vs Rutgers including going for a fake FG on the 8 yd line. Lost that game by 6 pts and 9 alone taken off the board by not getting field goals at the least, giving up 2 possessions on turnovers in the red zone.

So we'll see what happens!!

I've got my beer on ice and getting ready for the Alamo Bowl Game!!

GO BRUINS!!

Thanks BigG!!

One last thing before the game starts. UCLA opened ML -123 but +1 1/2 on side? Now it's pk on side and +100 to +104 ML, at most places bouncing back and forth on K State, just like last year on Missouri -1 to open, line moved to Oklahoma St -3, and Mizzou won 41-31!! :00hour

Let's GO BRUINS!!

Jeff & Jimmy Waters, I'll be calling you!! LOL

BOWL GAME OF YEAR: UCLA +1 1/2 (10 units) - Kansas St folks is a good team, however on the rd they did not fare too well and the Alamo Bowl typically favors teams that have an offense that is pretty diverse and favors grass teams when they come indoors on the turface. Hundley for UCLA should have his passing gear on and get some open reads on running plays, watch the big WRs (Payton is NFL material) and RB Perkins, another strong north/south runner who can get outside as well, like Auburn did @ Manhattan earlier in the year, look for UCLA to out play K St DBs. UCLA was 6-0 on the rd this year with some close wins and some close wins vs teams who had pretty good overall "D", including Virginia, Arizona St, and Texas. K State on the rd had a quality win @ Oklahoma and W Va, but both those teams are not nearly as close offensively to UCLA. K State barely beat Iowa St in wk 2!! UCLA wins this one 42 to 24!

Over 28 1/2 - 30 2nd half UCLA/K St (1 unit)

Looking like a 42-24 game might not be out of the question!!

GLE!!

Game shouldn't have been that close!! UCLA did about all they could to almost give it away, but K State would not relent, they kept coming as Bill's teams always do!!

WINNER & WINNER!!

Now just need over 57 WASH/OK ST to complete a sweep today!!

Thnx SDS!! #74, OL for UCLA was bad, he let that lil quick DE beat him several times to get to Hundley, cost some good drives and 68 did the same thing then he atones by the big block that set Perkins free towards the end of the game.

Thanks Bobo!! That was the first Bowl game that stood out to me after the Total in UNC/Rutgers, still pissed at losing that first big BOWL TOTAL of YEAR. Fedora is a clown, UNC picked a loser in this guy!! He's a good second fiddle, he's not a head coach. Marquise Williams is a "me first player" and the idiots that spray painted when they beat DUKE need to be kicked off the team. Embarassing team UNC is!

Glad the bowls are almost over. I have no feel for the ECU game, its a nooner, "That's what he said!", anyways, Florida has some seniors and juniors that want to win a Bowl game and ECU has a few seniors as well and do have their HC leading the way. Somehow I don't see FLA losing to ECU, but I'm not touching that one with a 39 1/2 foot pole!

Toledo & Ark St? Really? That's for degenerate action only and I'll pass on that one too. At first glance it showed scoring blowout, but how many players that were key for Toledo and Ark St are healthy for this tilt?

Ohio St +7 and under 74 is tempting right now, but 11 days until that one kicks off!! TOO long a wait in my opinion. They should be playing next Friday Night!

But anyways, it was a good bowl season, the big 5 & 10 unit plays saved me!!

Thanks for following and the kind words ya'll!
