Not many lines out yet except in the Final 4 and those lines in my opinion are whack!!

But how about these matchups huh? I kinda like em all but some stick out like sore thumbs. I'll have my official picks up all by December 15 but for now looking at these games w/o any lines yet.

Why is TCU in a bowl game? They're pathetic this year and no rhyme or reason for this shit!! This game could be a yawner vs Cal. a 6-6 team vs 7-5 team, and a pick em? Cal appears hungrier!

ULL/Tulane is interesting being played day 1 of bowls in Louisiana. This game will be playd in Orlando, my goof!!

UAB back in a bowl game after being dumped as a FB program for 2 years. Anyone remember Watson Brown for starting the program? UAB vs a MAC team could be a recipe for a crazy game in Florida.

USF in a bowl game w/Strong as HC has got to make folks laugh, USF probably a 7 pt fav? Hah! USF is the dog here and basically in their own stadium in Tampa, this game should be have been a pick em at worse or USF by 7, so now my crunching comes a bit more interesting.

BC vs Boise? I'm thinking Vegas makes Boise a fav by 3 1/2? I like the Eagles in this matchup a bit. Line is right on on this one.

Duke vs Temple raises my eyebrows a bit. Both teams overachieved this year and Duke looking for a bowl win under Cutcliffe and a dog to an AAC team?

Syracuse vs West Virginia could be a very high scoring game, me thinks the total will be around 74? Total opened at 74? WOW!!

Florida vs Michigan? Harbaugh in bowl games has been decent, Gators tough in dog roles, so this could be a decent game for sure, me thinks Michigan fav by 7 1/2? It's at 6 right now.

Michigan State in a bowl vs Oregon? Yawn!

LSU vs UCF could be something, LSU favored I see by 8? UCF has some athletic talent. Could the win streak at 25 continue or stop? Hmmm

Kentucky vs Penn St is interesting. Wildcats could be small dogs in this tilt, +3 1/2 maybe? I like them over the Lions on paper.

Georgia by 10 1/2 over Texas? Lots of points potentially here.

79-71-3, +.90 units
14-17, -4.7 totals, TOY Over 41, Mich St/Mich, LOSS 21-7
64-52-3, +6.8 sides, GOY Winner, Texas -2 1/2, WON 24-10, 11/17/18
1-2, -1.2 teasers

Good point Bo, but I'm certain Vegas has an idea of who's not going to play in their Bowl games who are high profile prospects supposedly for the NFL Draft like the dipshit DL for Houston, Oliver and Michigan's DL man too. Seeing which coaches stay and leave as well as academic and injury issues before the bowl games will make my final determinations but the factual data helps keep my plays within the 3-4 point edge my numbers come out to project outcome wise.

Stay tuned.

I played OSU-5 1/2 as soon as Urban stepped down. The players love him but the D is horrible at times. We?ll see how it plays out. good luck WildBill... :toast:

Lost the total in Army/Navy game, so finished losing juice on the regular season.

My Bowl Picks are below, my goal is to win 10 units, all plays are equal one unit including Bowl Total of the Year and Bowl Game of the Year even though the latter two are big plays for me.

BOL to everyone and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Utah St -7, line has dropped by 5 points? WOW!! I know their HC left, but the players remain and NT played a weak schedule and faded down the last 5 games, Aggies are two TDs better imo. WINNER

ULL +3 - Green Wave could be dangerous however the QB for ULL isn't that bad and Rajin Cajuns have some athletes on both lines as well, this is a neutral site game and ULL should hang in there. LOSER

Arizona St +5 - Herman Edwards 1st Bowl Game as a HC and this is a recruiting statement, Bulldogs off big revenge win vs Boise for MWC Championship, Sun Devs has enough "O" to keep this one close or win SU. LOSER

Over 47 1/2 EMU/Ga Southern LOSER

Middle Tenn +6 1/2 - App St and MT are equal in talent and App lost their HC to another program and MT very focused on winning their Bowl Game. LOSER

UAB -1 - Blazers got thumped in their Bowl Game this year and MAC can be dangerous in bowl game matchups however the Blazers have a better HC imo and talent from Bama. WINNER

Over 66 1/2 FIU/Toledo, add Over 56 FIU/Toledo - Should be one of the higher scoring bowl games for sure, Rockets have a nice offense as does FIU, should be some future NFL players displayed in this tilt. WINNER WINNER

Over 48 1/2 BYU/WM - Blue Turf scoring brigade. WINNER

Wake Forest +4 WINNER

Troy +3 - Trojans a bit better athletes here and playing in homeland territory. WINNER

BC +3 - Who wants this? Addazzio's team features some isolated studs at TE and DL and LB, and Boise has ways of playing spoiler but in a small fav roll here, I'll take the points. No Contest, game cancelled

Minnesota +4 - Gophers HC back in Michigan where he coached before in the MAC and the Gophers have enough to keep up with GT who are playing for their outgoing HC Johnson, FG game. WINNER

Over 40 Cal/TCU - Bowl games with low lines like this typically go over, so sticking with that trend. LOSER

Duke +3 1/2 - Duke has some players folks and should compete well in this tilt. WINNER

Miami-FL -3 1/2 - Hurricanes have talent and Wisky has a top RB, this one in the Bronx, I'll take the small fav. LOSER

Over 55 Vandy/Baylor - Baylor basically a home game. WINNER

Syracuse +7 1/2 - Cuse have a shot to win this one SU should Dungey be on.

Iowa St +4 1/2 - Cyclones should hang with the Mustache dude.

BOWL TOTAL OF YEAR: Over 59 1/2 Ark St/Nevada - Looking for a shootout in Tucson!!

Florida +7 1/2 - Gators should keep this one interesting.

S Carolina -4 - Gamecocks have more weapons than the Cavs

Over 55 ND/Clemson

Oklahoma +13 1/2

ND +11 1/2

Pitt +6 1/2 - Dog usually plays well in this bowl game and Panthers talent is as good as the Tree's.

Oregon -2 1/2 - Ducks with a quality QB and playing in Santa Clara should help them some vs struggling Sparty who just could get their "O" going at seasons end.

Over 71 Mo/Okie St - Former Big 12 matchup back in the day should showcase some scoring opportunities here.

A&M -5 1/2 - Aggies have at least a TD better chance than Wolfpack.

NW +7 - game in San Diego vs Utes, I'll take the BiG10 dog here.

Miss St -5 1/2 - "D" for Dogs better than Hawkeyes and I'll take a small SEC fav in Florida anyday and first Bowl game for HC of Miss St.

UCF +8 - I'll take the dog in this tilt with the longest winning streak still in the Nation.

Over 58 Wash/Ohio St - Rose Bowl should be a nice game to watch with Urban's swan song.

Over 58 Texas/Georgia - Dogs could smoke the Horns in NOLA!!

2H: Over 21 UAB/NIlly LOSER

Over 51 Marshall/USF WINNER

2H: Over 20 1/2 Wisky/Miami (5 units) WINNER

1H: Vandy -3 WINNER
1H: Over 28 Vandy/Baylor WINNER

Vandy -4, for the game, going with the 'Dores here with Shurmur as QB for 'Dores, a step better passer than Baylor, should be a competitive game, something like 34-27! LOSER

2H: Over 28 Baylor/Vandy WINNER

6-5, +.50 units thus far.

A few pointers, yeah favs have been decent plays early, however, logistics and teams revenging bowl losses have done well thus far, also the weather really hasn't played a part in totals other than the lines moved which hasn't meant much, it moved nearly 10 points down in FIU/Toledo game so what is to come?

Bama showing Tua practicing, albeit it, slow mo, not a lot of talk other than NFL talk surrounding Lincoln Riley whoopee doo! Jimmy Hard Hat also being rumored for the NFL, he had that luxury for a couple of years, he has more power at Michigan and he likes that and that's his alma mater peeps, he ain't doing a LeBron in Ann Arbor!

Today's game, Wake Forest, they beat N C State & Duke with their backup RS QB and he's only getting better, Memphis played a weak schedule and their best RB is out and Clawson is a smart coach so should be an exciting game and I feel WF will win SU.

Golden Domers getting little love vs Clemson, except Trevor Matich says game will be closer than experts think at 9 points? Hmmmm. Clemson hasn't faced a team like ND this year at least offensively.

WVU no Grier, Stanford no RB Love, both keys in those games so look for the dogs to bark in those 2 games.

Bowl Total of the Year line moved north a bit and why shouldn't it, then it's gone down 1 1/2 points in my favor? LOL, gotta love line playing and so called Vegas Sharps.

Good luck today!! I may have some 2H plays up from game to game!!

Sticking with my dogs selections today. A lil analysis on both games.

BC lost it's last 3 games entering this game and they were banged up offensively at QB and RB and both players are back to play today in the Bowl Game. Boise played a weak schedule and they were 2-1 their last 3 losing in the MWC Championship to Fresno St at home yet beating Utah St and New Mexico, then Fresno the week before going back 4 games. ACC is not the strongest of conferences but they are better than the MWC. Dogs of late have barked loudly and this game will come down to turnovers, whom ever makes the most, will lose this game SU. Teams who have won SU as dogs thus far, had the better strength of schedule and most of their players back starting for them or able reserves who've played most of the season. Line has gone from +3 1/2 down to +2 yet most of the money is on Boise? Hmmm...

GT is a rising favorite, Coach Johnson's last game as HC for the Ramblin Yellow Hornet. Minnesota under row the boat mentality HC Fleck. Both teams have 500 or 1 game above 500 records and GT has a huge turnover edge here and the line has gone from -3 1/2 GT to -6 1/2. Emotional game set up for GT yet Gophers wanting a bowl win, so this one to me could come down to whom has the ball last. Tech is a strong running team and Gophers run stopper not too good, so I'm sure during the off period b4 this game, the Gophers have addressed this on film and practice, so we'll see late this afternoon what happens. I still think it's a 3 pt game or dog SU, but who knows?

Over 40 Cal/TCU - Bowl games with low lines like this typically go over, so sticking with that trend. This game the line has dropped down to 38 and swung from TCU being a 2 pt dog to a 2 pt fav? WOW!! Outdoors in sunny Arizona this game could be a landslide scoring machine or it could be a low scoring stinker, yet me thinks the Horney Toads have some weapons who've been ready to be unleashed and get their opportunity today vs Wilcox's Bears bunch who played a weaker schedule in comparison to the 2 teams here and I like Gary Patterson in a dog role in a bowl game. Go Toads!

GL on whatever ya'll are playing today!!

Duke +3 1/2 - Duke has some players folks and should compete well in this tilt.

Miami-FL -3 1/2 - Hurricanes have talent and Wisky has a top RB, this one in the Bronx, I'll take the small fav.

Over 55 Vandy/Baylor - Baylor basically a home game.

1-1 day, now 9-6, +2.4 units, lost the total in the Cal by a bunch, ain't seen that many friggin turnovers in a short amount of time since Pop Warner football as an official!! LOL

Today's tidbits: Duke QB getting some tv time as a '19 top NFL prospect, Temple with interim HC and a much weaker schedule than Blu Devs. I'll take the hook or +4 now.

Miami starting a diff QB? Who cares?!! All QBs for Miami have played for the Canes, Wisky with head dinger QB relying on their D and ground game, could be a turnover decider once again, I'll take Richt over Chryst here in a battle for nothing.

Over 55 in the Vandy/Baylor game, this is in Houston, Baylor has had an up/down year scoring and Vandy D shows up on occasion, this just seems like a set up for an OT game and should have some points scored, although yesterday the 2 games that got thru went UNDER!! This seems like a 31-28 type game!!

GL today everyone, lots of plays left, pick your spots and don't over analyze the games, go with the Coaches, returning players, the better bench depth, schedules and how the teams did their last 3 games of the season including conference championship.
