Weather at 1st pitch for Game 2

A Santa Ana event with strong offshore winds will be responsible for the heat in much of Southern California this week. However, the area around Dodger Stadium and much of downtown Los Angeles is sheltered from strong winds.

There will be plenty of sunshine at the start of the game and a clear evening by game's end. AccuWeather RealFeel? Temperatures will be close to the actual air temperature due to the low humidity.

With high temperatures expected to climb to 100 F on Wednesday, it will break the previous record high of 96 F set in 1983. The normal high this time of year in Los Angeles is 78.
