It's a slow day, so hopefully nobody minds this in here rather than the general booth.
Anyway, has anyone looked at the weather conditions during the game and the pitchers' stats? More than the wind blowing in or out hard at Wrigley.
In particular, I would have to say that a light breeze out to center (in the pitcher's face) seems to help most pitchers that have a good curveball.
Humidity is supposed to favor a knuckle ball, but I'm not familiar with many knuckleballers.
Just wondering what you all thought... the wind blowing out seems to help the CB a lot and just wondering if that was true or just anecdotal evidence on my part.
