Blowing in from the north is straight in from left. blowing in from the northeast would be in from center field. gl

Whenever I've been there...

Whenever I've been there...

I thought out in right field was out by the Dan Ryan, which would be east.

Are you saying home plate out to dead center is southeast?

You're right...

You're right...

Wind blowing from the north is angling out to right.

I have only been there a couple of times but just from driving by there I'm pretty such that a shot to dead center is almost exactly due east. That would make left field slightly northeast and right field slightly southeast. There may be a little more of a southeast tint to it but I think it is marginal. I would consider winds out of the northeast to be a crosswind, not straight out, although it *might* help puch a ball hit to the right field alley to get over the fence in the corner.

With the cold, should definitely be a pitcher's day. Then again, thats what I thought about the Cubs game yesterday, and only the cubs O agreed with me.
